Product Overview

The Wireless IO Module is a versatile industrial converter designed to bring legacy equipment and traditional sensor systems into the age of wireless connectivity. Whether you're working with outdated PLCs, analog sensors, or mechanical switches, our IO Module provides a bridge to modern IoT platforms without requiring expensive equipment replacement.

With four analog input channels (supporting 4-20mA and 0-10V standards), four digital inputs for switches and alarms, and two relay outputs for control functions, the module delivers comprehensive data acquisition capabilities. DIN rail mounting simplifies installation in existing control cabinets, while RS485 Modbus support ensures compatibility with virtually any industrial control system.

How It Works

Signal Acquisition: Analog signals (4-20mA or 0-10V) are received on dedicated input channels. Digital inputs capture switch states and alarm signals. The 12-bit ADC converter ensures precise analog-to-digital conversion.

Processing & Logging: The embedded microcontroller processes sensor data and applies calibration corrections. Data is stored in local flash memory for 50,000+ records with configurable intervals from 1 minute to 24 hours.

Wireless Transmission: Data is encrypted and transmitted via LoRaWAN to your network gateway. Additionally, RS485 Modbus RTU provides direct connectivity to existing industrial control systems for backward compatibility.

Cloud Integration & Control: Data is received by the Controlytics cloud platform and made available through APIs and dashboards. Relay outputs enable remote control and automation based on data thresholds and alerts.
